Long Live the King (3/29/15 – 4/19/15)

 “Long Live the King” presented by Aspen Aire is an online photo contest that will run from Monday, March 30th until Sunday April 19th at 5pm in which one contestant will win a 4-pack of tickets to Disney’s The Lion King at the Des Moines Civic Center and $250. The grand prize is valued at $472. Contestants may enter contest online at STAR1025 dot com by completing a registration form and submitting to the site one photo of themselves holding a live cat in the air with both hands by April 12th at 10 pm. Photos submitted must be owned by the person submitting the entry. Limit one entry, per person, per e-mail address. Patrons may vote online once per day, per e-mail address from April 13th through April 19th at 5pm. If there is a tie when voting ends, a random drawing will be performed between the tying photos to determine the winner. To participate in this contest you must become a registered user through uPickem. The winner of the contest will be announced on air and online at STAR1025 dot com and contacted by phone on April 20th. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the contest will be disqualified. This contest is open to all eligible Iowa residents 18 or older who have not won any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Employees of STAR 102.5 the Des Moines Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communication Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within one hundred mile radius of STAR 102.5 main studio are not eligible to win any contest. STAR 102.5 has the right to determine, in its absolute discretion, what content is appropriate for the website. STAR 102.5 staff will coordinate with the winner on how to redeem the grand prize.
